Character Personality:
Iggy is decidedly impartial. The topic doesn’t particularly matter- movies, girls, current events. He works hard to maintain indifference, mainly to build a wall between him and the rest of the world. That considered, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Iggy isn’t talkative in the least. He is soft-spoken in the rare moments he’s caught in a conversation, but he looks for ways out of them. He’s anti-social and detached, and seems to only enjoy being completely isolated.

The only thing he is truly passionate about is his music. He plays piano and guitars, and he’s learning how to play the drums, as well. Even though by the year he was old enough to strum a note, most of the great musicians had created most of the great music, but he hasn’t stopped trying to find new combinations, new ways to make the sounds beneath his fingers. Like his ancestors before him, he strives to be individualistic in his music. It is his only way of expressing himself.

Likes:
Instruments of any kind, spicy food, books, television, chocolate, the Moon.
Dislikes:
Crowds, social gathering places (he refers to them as “watering holes”), strawberries, heights.

Quiet, talented, considerate, tidy.

Extremely reserved, antisocial, rude when annoyed or confronted, doesn’t really know how to keep relationships, platonic or romantic.

Bio:
Iggy grew up in a family of professors and scientists. His parents are intellectuals and highly respected at several universities throughout the area, where they make regular visits to teach classes of ogling young students. His sister aspires to be just like her parents, while his younger brother wants to be like Grandpa Arnold and research minerals and natural resources on the Moon.

Iggy never really fit in, even with his family, but especially in a school setting. Even teachers at his lower-level schools had heard of his parents, and handled him like a fragile child. Other kids picked up on that, and treated him like an outcast. He learned from an early age that he needed to entertain himself; he was his only ally. He decided that he wanted to play the piano when he was seven, and his parents signed him up for lessons immediately. He loved music from the get-go, and never had to be told to practice twice. Piano soon stemmed out into guitar, and from there, the obsession was sparked.

Extra Information:
Iggy has never had a real friend. His brothers and sisters provided the only companionship for him in his life, and he is socially awkward. He feels that he’s boring and uninteresting, so why anyone would want to talk to him is beyond him. He’s not a good conversation starter or carrier, and its difficult, maybe even impossible, for him to nurse a relationship. He’s lonely, but he doesn’t see how he can possibly change that, so he withdraws deeper into his instruments.
